Practicality and comfort

Hyundai has once again proven its commitment to producing practical and comfortable cars with the release of its latest model, the i30. The car boasts impressive performance, comfort, and visibility, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a reliable and efficient vehicle.

One of the most notable features of the i30 is its spaciousness. The car has a considerable amount of leg and headroom, making it very roomy for both drivers and passengers. The front of the vehicle has a fair amount of storage, including a good-sized glovebox, two medium-sized door bins, a lidded cubby under the centre armrest, and two cupholders in the centre. In the back, there is enough headroom for passengers six-foot and over, although the legroom is not as much as the front.

Performance and visibility

In towns, the i30 is a perfect compact size with a perfect view out of the front, making it the ideal car for nipping in and out of junctions. The speedometer is visible for both the driver and passengers making it a suitable instructor car as well as an everyday car. The rear parking sensors and camera make slotting into small parking spaces no problem at all, which is ideal for town parking. The suspension of the car does a good job of soaking up potholes and speed bumps, so you don’t get bounced around in the car.

The Hyundai i30 has a 1.0-litre petrol engine with an average fuel economy of 54 mpg. On the motorway, the engine gets the i30 up to motorway speeds quickly enough to stay there comfortably. Combined with cruise control and lane departure, the i30 makes motorway driving not too bad, and there is very minimal cabin noise, which is perfect when doing long journeys.

On twisty roads, the steering of the vehicle is accurate and persistent, pointing the vehicle exactly where you want it to go. The suspension absorbs the lumps and bumps of the road, making the drivers and passengers feel safe and secure.

The visibility in the i30 is also impressive. The slim pillars in the front provide a clear view, making it easier to judge roundabouts and T-junctions. Although the rear view is slightly restricted by the rear pillars, the rear parking sensors and reversing camera make up for this, making it easier to reverse.

The square-shaped boot of the i30 has a capacity of 395 litres,  with extra storage compartments to the side and under the floor. The back seats can also be put down to create extra room.

Overall, the Hyundai i30 is a practical and comfortable car that offers impressive performance and visibility. Its fuel economy is also a plus, making it a reliable and efficient vehicle for both city and long-distance driving.
